The BUZZ about MEDICO

Here in the MEDICO offices we are so fortunate to see first hand the effects of your efforts. The impact is far reaching, touching the lives of so many people both in the 'field' and around the world. Case in point, we have received packages sent from young children who read about our efforts and are motivated to respond. (Please note the picture) This past week we received a package sent by a young girl in Seattle, Washington who read about our work on the web. She was moved to send us a box of school supplies and blankets to benefit children in Central America, children we would see on our field team. Recently we learned of another young supporter living in the Minneapolis area who wanted to find a way to contribute. She and a friend decided to make homemade soap to sell at their local church bazarre. Their efforts raised some $170.00 towards MEDICO's continuing presence in Central America. We occasionally receive these wonderful packages and news sent by our young supporters, individuals who are moved by our efforts and feel the need to respond. This gives us such hope for the future.

In another story veteran MEDICO participant Ray Estrada is making a big impact for MEDICO. Ray is a firefighter in New Jersey and a supporter of MEDICO. Please click on this sight and read a recent news article:
http://www.thnt.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070128/NEWS0102/701280461/1005/NEWS01 From coast to coast, MEDICO is making news and impacting lives. We thank all of our friends for their support and keeping us pointed in the right direction.

Think about what you can do to similarly affect the world through MEDICO. Our existence is the end result of passion ~ a passion to help others in need. It's a unified outreach of people of all ages, races, religions, experiences, demographics, expertise, and cultures all willing to serve in their own, unique way. Let us know how we can help you make a difference. There are lives depending on us all.

Director of Operations, MEDICO
