MEDICO Thank You and Welcome

MEDICO wishes to thank Mr. James Wochner, our exiting Board of Directors President for the wonderful job he provided the board over the past 3 years. His leadership has been an exemplary model providing a hands-on approach to the efficient operational directions of our leadership. Jim and his wife Rene'e have been MEDICO icons for many years serving on field teams throughout Honduras both as lay volunteers and as team leaders. We are deeply grateful for all he has provided and are thankful that he will still maintain a position on our Board of Directors offering guidance for at least the next year.

Jim has handed over this leadership role to Dr. Gretchen Ehresmann, an exceptionally qualified and similarly involved board member and volunteer for many, many years. Gretchen and her husband John have traveled into Honduras numerous times facilitating on teams as medical and dental doctors alike. Gretchen's heart is for the MEDICO mission in our Adopt-A-Village Initiative. She similarly shares a strong response to the educational component of our field teams serving throughout Central America.

We welcome the leadership of Dr. Ehresmann and embrace all she brings to the strategic objectives of our humanitarian service organization.
