Pressing On Toward The Goal

As we approach the end of calendar year 2007 we're 'fine-tuning' our stride for 2008. As incredulous as it may seem, 2008 has been here for quite some time. MEDICO has been engaged in preparation for the next year of mission service; accepting applications for field teams, ordering medicines and supplies, actively dialoging with host organizations, strategizing for our special Adopt-A-Village sites, examining the prospects for special water projects, facilitating the administrative responsibilities of operating a non-profit organization, and most of all, setting our sights on our mission objective of providing the highest quality, most comprehensive field team healthcare response for the people that need this care the most ~ the indigenous populations of Central America.

In the process of preparation for the actual year 2008 we're also looking at new and dynamic ways to engage the heart of the organization, our volunteers. We're examining new opportunities for service, for philanthropic interests, and for partnerships that will move us well into the future with an even bigger footprint of humanitarian care.
