Poised For Purpose 2008

2008 is on track for another banner year of humanitarian outreach benefitting the underserved in Honduras and Nicaragua. Our efforts will include the work of eight field teams serving in five different locations throughout Honduras and into Nicaragua. We will also be in a response of continuum at two of our Adopt-A-Village locations serving out our 5 year commitment to these communities as well as providing a response in a clinic setting in Nicaragua that we visited early in 2007. In addition to the field team efforts, volunteers in close proximity to the MEDICO office/warehouse headquarters will be engaging in many 'Warehouse Nights' of service, preparing our field teams for departure by condensing medicines for transport. We will also be looking towards further connectional opportunities for our many MEDICO supporters, through special events and on-line outreach.
